The tapered spool allows frictionless launching, and the deep capacity means that heavy wire loading is an option. The AV8000 is equipped with a fast front clutch system that allows it to switch from free spool to combat drag in less than one turn. 7 stainless steel ball bearings and 1 roller bearing not only give AV8000 a silky smooth feel and incredible performance, but also contribute to increased durability and longevity. The AV8000 features a CNC-machined aluminum handle with an ergonomic soft-touch rubber grip, providing extra starting power and grip. Made in 3 pieces with high-strength carbon, it is currently available in 2 versions: the 16 Lbs, mt. 2.45 ( closed footprint of only 85 cm ), universal and suitable for all fishing conditions; and the very powerful 30 Lbs.
