From the fantastic Invictus and Maniac series it has taken the metal body, a basic premise for offering smoothness of rotation even under load and durability, the crank that operates in direct engagement on the drive gear, the shielded ball bearings on both faces and the sealed clutch with carbon discs.</p> <p>From the X-Plore SW-H series comes the fantastic spool, with those beautiful hexagonal holes that lighten its skirt. Il mulinello da pesca ha diverse caratteristiche ma la piu' importante e' la resistenza, capacita' di recupero e capacita' di bobina. Nella scelta del mulinello e' importante verificare il rapporto di recupero: con questo termine si fa riferimento al numero di giri compiuti dalla bobina con ogni giro di manovella. Più è basso questo rapporto e minore risulta la quantità di filo recuperato – la proporzione e' di circa 10-15 m di filo (p.e 3:1= 45 cm per giro). Questo ha una importante influenza sull'azione di pesca: se il rapporto di recupero e' alto, diventa quasi impossibile fare in modo che l'esca si muova nell'acqua a una velocità bassa e costante. In commercio ci sono due tipi di mulinello: a bobina fissa e a bobina rotante. I primi presentano il sistema di frizione che concede lenza al pesce nel momento in cui la sua resistenza e la nostra forza provocherebbero la rottura del filo: la bobina allora prende a ruotare in senso contrario all'avvolgimento e cede filo prima che esso possa spezzarsi. Contemporaneamente viene interrotto il collegamento con la manovella cosi diventa impossibile il recupero. Al termine dell'azione sotto sforzo, il congegno torna “normale” e si può riprendere il recupero della preda. I mulinelli a bobina rotante trovano impiego nelle tecniche di pesca più pesanti (surfcasting pescante, pesca d'altura). Presentano la bobina in posizione perpendicolare rispetto all'asse della canna. Questo tipo di mulinello si differenzia dal precedente per la presenza di un “freno” (può essere “a stella” oppure “a leva”). Questi freni svolgono funzioni simili a quelle delle frizioni nei mulinelli a bobina fissa.

Le parti esterne comuni a tutti i mulinelli sono quattro: l'attacco alla canna, la bobina, l'archetto, la manovella. E' importante che l'attacco alla canna e la manovella siano sufficientemente robusti per sopportare i tiri e gli strattoni impressi alla lenza dal pesce allamato e dall'azione di recupero.

  • L'attacco deve formare un tutt'uno con la canna diventandone parte integrante; la manovella, invece, deve consentire una buona presa alla mano.
  • La bobina contiene il filo necessario all'azione di pesca e ha un movimento “avanti-indietro” lungo il proprio asse che consente il riavvolgimento del filo in spire ordinate e ben distribuite su tutta la bobina.
  • L'archetto: quando e' sollevato permette al filo di scorrere liberamente al momento del lancio; abbassato, invece , impedisce l'uscita del nylon e ne agevola il recupero.
