<p>La pesca dei Cefalopodi con le imitazioni di gambero è uno sport sviluppato in tutto il mondo. In giapponese le esche si chiamano Egi, per cui la tecnica è stata battezzata Eging. Ed è proprio quello il campo d'azione delle ottime canne Rip Tide: rapide per lanciare con facilità e sensibili in vetta per gestire al meglio le esche e avvertire le tocche di Seppie e Calamari. Dato che la lenza è quasi sempre in PE, multifibre privo di elasticità, è la canna ad assorbire la loro difesa, che è quasi sempre energica; qui entra in gioco la struttura in carbonio Alto Modulo CX-1 Micro Pitch, la cui reattività puo' essere programmata centimetro per centimetro. Ed è nel calcio che risiede una potenza notevole, per affrontare bene le condizioni di vento avverso, non così rare nei mesi freddi quando i Cefalopodi si avvicinano a riva. A partire dall'estremita' inferiore, fino ad un tratto a monte del porta mulinello, l'impugnatura è rinforzata da bande incrociate di carbonio, proprio per incamerare potenza e restituirla nella proiezione del jig a grande distanza. L'impugnatura è sdoppiata in EVA, con un calcio conico per un controllo perfetto e una grip superiore che ingloba il porta mulinello Rapture a scomparsa. Anelli a gambo lungi in Sic.</p>
