RAPTURE RIPTIDE

Cephalopod fishing with shrimp imitations is a sport developed worldwide. In Japanese, the baits are called Egi, so the technique has been christened Eging. And that is precisely the scope of the excellent Rip Tide rods: quick to cast with ease and sensitive at the tip to better handle the lures and sense the touches of Cuttlefish and Squid. Since the line is almost always PE, multifiber without elasticity, it is the rod that absorbs their defense, which is almost always vigorous; this is where the CX-1 Micro Pitch High Modulus carbon structure comes in, whose responsiveness can be programmed inch by inch. And it is in the stock that considerable power resides, to cope well with adverse wind conditions, not so uncommon in the cold months when the Cephalopods come close to shore. Beginning at the lower end, up to a section upstream of the reel holder, the handle is reinforced by crisscrossed bands of carbon, precisely to store power and return it in the projection of the jig at great distances. The handle is split EVA, with a tapered stock for perfect control and a superior grip that incorporates the retractable Rapture reel holder. Sic long-stemmed rings.
