Rubber profiled cheeks protect the reel foot from any abrasion. An important detail that until recently was not even considered. In fact, it ensures excellent handling of the tool both when casting and fishing. In addition, there is a rubber plug at the base of the knob and each individual piece that safeguards the rod from accidental breakage. Sea Guide rings made of SiC with K-profile frames are secured by double bindings to seal the sides of their feet, preventing saltwater ingress.
