But closer examination notes that the spool skirt has an unusual role, because it is released from the structure and can be rotated manually to trigger the free runner system. What does it mean ' the free runner device, is basically, a very mild second clutch, which allows the reel to rotate by yielding lena to the fish, allowing it to trigger its first reaction without endangering the terminal.
