As a result, the rod has an exceptional response, very fast and powerful in spite of its thin light appearance, and perfectly balanced. Sealing to wave motion is good and it does not sink when retrieving large leads and large clusters of kelp. <h2>ITALCANNA MANGUSTA CANE</h2> <p>The Mangusta is certainly one of the first "real" sea rods with a length of 5 m. Too often in fact, those who were looking for a long lever for sea fishing had to fall back on more or less powerful bolognese rods made with reel holders of insufficient strength and rings unsuitable for diameter and quality, without considering the very bad action in loading. With Mangusta, on the other hand, you will have a long rod, able to cast at a considerable distance and manage ballasts up to 130g. Its length (just under 5 mt in compliance with the regulations) allows the use of particularly long terminals or the use of more hooks on the same line. In the latter case with the use of a single rod you will have more chances of capture. The tip remains always very sensitive and able to detect even the smallest shoals. The rod has a very small section and is very well balanced thanks to the new "Balance Optimizer" system that provides for the use of special components and rings with "Ultra Light" structure, in fact we must not forget that we have a disadvantageous lever of almost 1 mt more than the classic surf rods. Available in two models: GVTR-190 made of HR, length 4.40 m optimal casting 130-170g and also allows light ground with 125 g or GVTR-200 made of HR + HM, length 4.60 m. In the tests performed, the 200 particularly stood out for its ease of handling heavy leads such as 150 and 175 without sagging and giving the impression that it is certainly not on the limit. <h2><strong>ITALCANNA ULTRAMARINE ROD</strong></h2> <p>The "Oltremare" rod designed for technical casting, represents the Italian challenge to the World Record in the Ground and Pendular style. Created after months of studies and practical tests assisted by well-known technical casters, the Oltremare is currently available in 3 versions: Mod. "Pro" the most technical, stock with double energy storage and CERMET rings with low friction coefficient; Mod. "A" for fishing and pendular casting, Mod. "B" specifically for Ground. The latest Mod. "Pro" is best suited for competitive and pendulum-style technical casting competitions, while the Type "A" can be used (in addition to technical casting) for fishing if it is necessary to fish a considerable distance while retaining good sensitivity at the tip.
