<h2><strong>Italcanna aspide surfcasting fishing rod </strong></h2>
<p><span style="color: #000000;">We are aware that rods are just a tool to spend a few hours of freedom on the beach, but if you, like us, like to challenge the impossible you have to take a look at the Aspide, and we are not referring to aesthetics... </span><br /><span style="color: #000000;"> The Aspide born at the specific request of one of our collaborators who then also took care of the testing, is the latest fruit of our research and development team, and required several hours of design, 5 prototypes and the use of 8 different materials. </span><br /><span style="color: #000000;"> The requirement was to be able to have a high-power rod capable of holding a long lever during loading to achieve high escape velocity, yet without stiffening the tip, indeed, bringing it thin to the point so that during casting it would reset completely, but then return to full efficiency and sensitivity when fishing. All this without breaking, using "the best material par excellence," a small diameter, maximum possible lightness and, above all, most difficult of all: fitting it all together so as not to have a broken action. </span><br /><span style="color: #000000;"> It is therefore based on an innovative concept, never attempted before, a new way of thinking about the fishing rod different from all ours and all other rods on the market. </span><br /><span style="color: #000000;"> In fact there are other hard rods around, but the Aspide exaggerates even more than the Vitium the "Hard with a Sensitive Soul" concept that despite the powerful leverage, accompanies the bait in the initial phase. </span><br /><span style="color: #000000;"> By jerking it loose you will not be able to understand what we are saying: </span><br /><span style="color: #000000;"> the feel is that of a two-piece, but looking at the tip we realize that something is not quite right.... (but is this a beach rod or a surf rod ?) The final results of the project once again exceeded expectations: </span><br /><span style="color: #000000;"> - an impressive loading speed </span><br /><span style="color: #000000;"> - instantaneous return with very little oscillation that zeroes in on wigs and breakage even with very thin threads </span><br /><span style="color: #000000;"> - a rod that pushes and goes, and does so with progression while being fast right out of the box </span><br /><span style="color: #000000;"> - a range of use from 75 to 175g, a rod therefore that with the exception of some specialized applications transcends the concept of a band, of an ideal lead, of a rod for rough or calm seas. </span><br /><span style="color: #000000;"> - Center of gravity of the rod close to the reel seat for optimal balance ( absolute lightness brings no advantage if the balance is bad) </span><br /><br /><span style="color: #000000;"> For all these reasons we dared to call it the complete rod: "The Ultimate" </span><br /><span style="color: #000000;"> Is it different from all others? Yes it is </span><br /><span style="color: #000000;"> Does it shoot far ? Yes very much, adapting to the style of the launcher </span><br /><span style="color: #000000;"> Is it expensive ?
