Born from the extensive experience (28 world championships) of national athletes Eugenio Ucci & Agostino Antonelli. You will be amazed by the lightness (less than 330 g) and the action of the GT. The use of put-over joints, typical of the Darkside series of previous editions, has allowed engineers to further reduce the overall weight of the rod, without compromising its hold and action. If necessary, you will be able to cast your leads at good distances, without forcing the cast, so that the bait reaches the desired spot without being damaged. The progressive action aids in recovery and reduces the risk of unhooking and breaking superlight leaders (even 0.08 mm). The interchangeable tips allow you to modulate the action of the rod to best manage both bottom fishing (with the solid carbon tip) and surface fishing (with the solid glass tip). Constructed of HR and HM (high modulus) carbon both reinforced with nanocomposites mixed into the resin. Very light and balanced it inherits the excellent qualities of its younger sister. Two interchangeable tips with power range 20/60g for orange type and 70/130g for yellow type. Available at the moment in 4.30 size and soon in 4.60m. The soft tip to increase sensitivity has been lengthened by an additional 10 cm, so the reported lengths will increase by 10 cm with this tip. <h4>100 % MADE in ITALY</h4> Italcanna guarantees that all the rods in this catalog are absolutely made in Italy at its production facility in Lucca, starting with the mother carbon fiber that is used to make each and every shaft. Made in Italy means not only choosing the best materials, but also having the certainty of assistance and spare parts even on older products. In fact, we are used to always keep the molds necessary to make a given item. Italian production also means that the product you are using has been developed by expert fishermen for our seas, our seabeds, and our fishing techniques, and is therefore not an item that for market needs must necessarily be suitable for more than one country. <h4>The choice of materials</h4> Having a direct production-user relationship, we feel obliged to always employ the best materials, because we are personally accountable for the materials used, unlike manufacturers who resell to multinationals with the sole purpose of offering a sufficient product at a lower price to prevent them from turning to others, and certainly do not specify to them the raw materials used. <h2>TRABUCCO ULTRA STRONG FC 403 PINK SALTWATER</h2> Il colore della confezione lo identifica inequivocabilmente: è il fluorocarbon rosa di Trabucco! Niente a che fare con l’altra metà dell’universo pescasportivo, ma una precisa risposta ai problemi della pesca in acque molto limpide, in superficie o a profondità molto ridotta. E’ il caso dello spinning, del popping, del WTD, del light drifting e della pesca a mosca, dove i pesci guardano l’esca dal basso rilevando la presenza del filo grazie alla più lieve ombra proiettata in acqua a causa dell’indice di rifrazione del materiale con cui è prodotto. Ma il rosa appartiene alla categoria dei rossi, i colori che meglio fondono la propria presenza con l’acqua, già a partire dagli strati superficiali. Le reti da pesca professionali sono completamente rosse, e questo dice molto sulle chance di passare inosservate nell’ambiente acquatico. Dal punto di vista strutturale, il Pink è identico al Saltwater, offrendo le stesse specifiche di resistenza alla trazione e all’abrasione, con identica facilità di esecuzione dei nodi, dovuta alla sua spiccata morbidezza. Le bobine sono custodite in un guscio morbido a due guance, che permette di estrarre il filo nella quantità necessaria, senza consentire a spire sciolte di uscirne e mantenendo sempre il capo libero reperibile per ulteriori necessità. A partire dal diametro 0,50 la bobina ha un diametro maggiore rispetto a quello delle misure fino allo 0,40 e contiene 30 metri di filo anziché 50. There are manufacturers who ensure the excellence of their product, extolling its qualities of abrasion resistance and ratio of diameter to breaking strength. Always evaluate your choice according to the type of fishing you want to do. It would make no sense to try to catch conger eel on a very rough bottom with a 7-kilogram line, because if the line does not break at the first obstacle it encounters on the bottom, the conger eel will take care of it as soon as it bites. Before buying line, therefore, evaluate the conditions you will encounter. Having established the most suitable breaking strength, steer toward a brand-name product. Fishing lines for shore fishing have different breaking strengths depending on the species you intend to target and the type of bottom you are fishing on. In general, for fishing from open beaches, a 6.8-8 kilogram main line and a 22-27 kilogram end line are used. On the other hand, to fish on rough seabeds, it is necessary to choose a mother line of greater strength, up to 15 kilograms, capable of overcoming unscathed the obstacles it may encounter along its path. To fish for bass with plughi or spinners, on the other hand, it is better to choose a light 4-5 kilogram line, which guarantees a more natural behavior of the bait and the possibility of making longer and more fluid casts. If weights are to be applied, it is also important to use a shock leader, which is a heavier section of line tied to the end of the main line, usually in yellow or orange fluorescent material to be more visible when retrieved during night fishing trips or in bad weather.
