In all those situations where sensitivity, small bait size, and thin threads can make a difference the Exilis will prove to be the ideal tool. The blank, made of high-modulus carbon, which is very sensitive, allows the angler to perceive even the most insidious bites and, thanks to the change in taper, has a good reserve of power in the lower part of the shaft that allows you to be right even with respectable prey. The handling of artificials, as long as they are within range, is excellent: the great sensitivity of the Exilis makes it possible to feel the smallest vibrations of silicons, even when baited unleaded. Equally direct contact will be made with all the small hardbaits that are commonly used in light bass spinning: lipless, jerk, minnows and small topwaters will be animated excellently by the snappy tip of this rod. Grazie ad una sapiente miscela di carbonio in alto modulo ad alta resistenza, la canna risulta tra le più leggere della sua categoria sebbene consenta recuperi di prede importanti con il minimo sforzo. Interamente progettata al computer e testata grazie alla collaborazione di Boris M. Salnicoff questa canna è particolarmente adatta all'uso degli stick bait, le esche artificiali principalmente usate per questo pesce. Ha una vetta sensibile in grado di lanciare e far lavorare correttamente anche piccoli stick da 30gr (quando i tonni stanno mangiando sardine o alici), o artificiali da 100/130 grammi quando quando andremo ad insidiarli con le imitazioni più grosse. E' inoltre adatta all'utilizzo di pencil e skipping lure. La schiena di questa canna è stata invece appositamente progettata per contrastare il tonno nelle fasi di recupero anche quando sta in verticale sotto la barca o in profondità con una potenza fino a 50 lbs. Its etymology is not entirely clear; the term is derived from the English "to spin," and would refer to the continuous rotating motion of the reel, according to others to the continuous rotation of the paddle of rotating spoons (among the first artificials to be used in this technique).</p> <p>The particularity of <em>spinning </em>in the sea, compared to other land-based fishing techniques, lies in the <strong>continuous movement</strong> of both the arms (since it is necessary to cast and relaunch continuously) and the legs (in fact, it is not productive to cast always from the same point, but it is necessary to move continuously in search of the predator).
