SEASPIN LEPPA JIG 22

The Leppa is a metal jig with a flattened shape; not for nothing does Leppa, in Sardinian dialect, mean "knife," and in fact its physiognomy is very reminiscent of that of a dagger. Its particularly flat and aerodynamic shape, combined with its center of gravity shifted to the rear, allow it to make amazing casts.
In the retrieve it allows many customizations: it manages to guarantee a nervous and very enticing swim even on the linear retrieve and at very low speeds, and at the same time on jerk strokes it responds with obvious side jerks almost as if it were a jerk bait instead of a metal jig; at high rod and sustained speed it is
possible to make it swim just below the surface exploiting the eddies it will create as an additional source of attraction for predators. It is offered with a special single hook (Gàmu round hook) in place of the classic treble hook, because it is a more reliable conformation against large marine predators.
Excellent for use both from land and from the boat, it is suitable for searching for a large number of predators especially pelagic ones such as various tunnids, skipjack, amberjack and dorado. It is not disdained, however, by predators from the subcoast such as snappers and greenhouses; Excellent artificial for fishing on offshore feeders where
its swimming characteristics allow very slow passes that allow it to stay in the frenzy zone for longer.

<h2>SEASPIN BOKON JUNIOR</h2> Le nuovissime soft bait presentate dalla ditta Seaspin sviluppate per la pesca in acqua dolce, si sono rivelate estremamente catturanti e versatili sotto molti punti di vista. Partendo dalla mescola del materiale, si è riuscito ad ottenere una consistenza morbida ma allo stesso tempo resistente. Questa selezionata densità ci permette di utilizzare le soft bait anche in "heavy cover" senza preoccuparci di strappare l'esca prima che sia ben salda nella bocca del pesce. Anche dopo la cattura l'artificiale sarà riutilizzabile per ulteriori catture. Come nel Bokon il Bokon Jr, consente nel caso le chele andassero strappate durante il combattimento, di poter conservare l'esca per tutte quelle situazioni dove tale creatura necessità di una discesa più rapida. Infatti la versatilità del Bokon Jr. consiste proprio nel poter personalizzare la velocità di presentazione, grazie alle due chele a forma di cucchiaio, si ottiene un effetto paracadute che ci aiuta a tenere per più tempo l'artificiale all'interno della strike zone. Le molteplici appendici ne valorizzano il volume così come la dimensione del corpo che in questa versione è stato ridotto alle misure più adatte al confronto con predatori molto apatici. Se è vero che il volume dell'esca corrisponde ad una ghiotta occasione per i predatori, i ring ci aiutano a non sbagliare il momento della ferrata, infatti uno dei problemi di questo tipo di artificiali è dato dallo spessore del corpo che limita la fuoriuscita dell'amo nella fase di ferrata. Nel Bokon Jr. questo tipo di problema non si riscontra, in quanto puntando l'amo nei ring, si possono avere entrambi i vantaggi, il primo è il classico effetto anti incaglio, il secondo è dato proprio dalla facilità di uscita dell'amo durante lo "strike". Il sale contenuto all'interno del materiale ed il particolare tipo di "scent", aumentano in maniera consistente i tempi di trattenuta. Infatti il pesce non solo trattiene con convinzione l'esca una volta assaggiata, ma qual'ora gli sfuggisse la presa, sarà invogliato a riprenderlo con convinzione, proprio grazie al sapore percepito durante il primo assaggio. Il Bokon Jr. può essere utilizzato direttamente con innesco Texas rig, con tutti i tipi di pesi aggiunti, inoltre come trailer nelle "jig heads", segue il movimento di apertura degli "skirts" con l'apertura delle appendici, questo movimento estremamente naturale lo rende catturante anche durante le pause. Le dimensioni ci permettono di scegliere con ampio spettro il tipo di ami da utilizzare, anche se la forma "wide gap" risulta senza dubbio la più efficace. Il nuovissimo Bokon Jr. è stato sviluppato per soddisfare le esigenze delle acque italiane dove la taglia ridotta dell'esca spesso può fare la differenza. Può essere utilizzato in tutte le tecniche finesse compreso la "shaky head" dando il suo meglio in acque trasparenti con peci molto pressati. <h2>SEASPIN STRIA 95</h2> Lo Stria 95 è un minnow affondante molto innovativo. Nonostante la paletta pronunciata non si tratta di un countdown, ovvero un artificiale capace di scendere molto e di essere utilizzato da posizioni particolarmente alte: in realtà la sua fascia d’azione va da circa un metro a pochi centimetri sotto la sua superficie a seconda di come viene utilizzato. La paletta ha lo scopo di tenere bene le correnti, anche forti, qualità che lo rende perfetto per resistere in mezzo alle schiumate più difficili e alla potenza del flusso delle foci. La sua particolarità che lo distingue da tutti gli altri minnows in commercio è il movimento, infatti la forma con la “fronte alta” e i fianchi stretti lo costringono a un rolling estremamente accentuato, accompagnato da un wobbling stretto e regolare. Questo wobbling di 180° e la conseguente, forte vibrazione sono un qualcosa a cui i pesci, sempre più “esperti” in artificiali, non sono certo abituati. La forma è il movimento oltretutto sono artefici di un’attrattività visiva non indifferente: il luccichio dell’artificiale è un asso in più: impossibile non notarlo anche in mezzo alle schiumate più fitte! Tutte le qualità descritte lo rendono innanzitutto un ottimo artificiale da spigola, ma nei test ha dimostrato di essere polivalente: dal dentice, a barracuda e serra, e a sorpresa si è dimostrato vincente anche con tunnidi come alletterati e palamite. <h2>SEASPIN MURIGU</h2> Murigu in Sardinian means hustle and bustle, ferment, just what happens during a frenetic feeding activity at sea, what fishermen call mangianza, and it is precisely to fishing on mangianze that Seaspin's Murigu is dedicated. The metal body of a metal jig was encased in a plastic casing, in search of a calibrated ratio of weight to volume and a body shape that would also allow this type of bait to have its own movements. Its great castability makes it suitable for staying away from feeders and not disturbing predatory activity, and because of its slowed sinking, center of gravity position and body shape it can be exploited in different ways than a traditional jig. If retrieved slowly it moves in a linear fashion like a quiet minnow, if you speed up but keep the retrieve steady it takes a slight waggle that imitates an active fish, if retrieved quickly it rises to the surface simulating a prey trying to escape from the predator, while if left unarmed its falling attitude is practically horizontal and with a very slight roll, in imitation of minnows that have been injured or killed during predator attacks. It allows us to change the way of thinking, of fishing, of moving the rod and the reel crank, allowing us to manage the "life" of the artificial in complete autonomy. Its essential characteristics are: resistance to stranding, variable ballasting and movement system, maximum vitality and maneuverability of the artificial, possibility to probe with the same artificial any water layer while maintaining mobility and catching power both sinking and rising by flawlessly taking advantage of currents and obstacles, maximum control of vibrations and sounds, jerks and movements. <h2>SEASPIN LEPPA JIG 11</h2> <div>After the 22, 33, 44 and 55, the small size of the very special jigs from the Sardinian company Seaspin could not be missing. Thus, Leppa 11 was born as an answer to all salt and freshwater casters who like to use light equipment to search for their favorite predators. The proportions and shape of the big brothers remain unchanged: that special "anatomy" that makes Leppa unique. The flattened and aerodynamic body with the center of gravity of the bait shifted to the rear make this jig a real "bullet" . Its swimming is nervous and wagging even on slow, linear retrieves, and the lure responds promptly to jerks by producing the classic "side to side" motion generally more common in classic jerk minnow. During the fall to the bottom the jig, thanks to its knife-like shape, leaves the vertical trajectory "exhibiting" a disorderly flicker, accentuated more by the refraction of light on the side of the lure formed by three planes slightly angled to each other. Precisely because of this feature we decided to arm the metal with a single assist (formed by a strong lanyard and a Gamu round Hook size #1) and specifically let's see why : 1 The assist hook is an additional moving element that creates interest in the predator's sight. 2 The "lightness" of the assist increases the probability of strike especially on predators that suck in the bait. 3 If the jig is used on the bottom the "lightness" of the assist hook averts unpleasant strandings. 4 The Gamu Hook facilitates and speeds up the unhooking stages by making it possible to release the prey. 5 The mobility of the assist hook completely negates any leverage or twisting effect that often causes the prey to dislodge. 6 The robustness of the assist hook makes a small bait like this perform well even on very large prey. Reading these characteristics, one can guess the many scenarios in which the Leppa 11 can be successfully employed: from the classic off-shore feeding ( so setters, horse mackerel, mackerel, walleye, tombarelli , lampugheye bonito etc etc etc) to the search for all those bottom fish such as paragus, gurnard, snapper, scorpionfish and tracine. But it is also excellent for baiting from the shore in the skimmers of the underwater sea bass, bream, saddled bream, greenhouse and barracuda. Thanks to its size, it also lends itself to use in fresh water : for example, let it fall to the bottom of a large lake in search of a real perch or let it flicker in the current of a stream ready to intrigue a beautiful trout on the prowl ! In the retrieve it allows many customizations: it manages to guarantee a nervous and very enticing swim even on the linear retrieve and at very low speeds, and at the same time on jerkbaits it responds with obvious side jerks almost as if it were a jerk bait instead of a metal jig; at high rod and sustained speed it is possible to make it swim just below the surface exploiting the eddies it will create as an additional source of attraction for predators. It is offered with a special single hook (Gàmu round hook) in place of the classic treble hook because it is a more reliable conformation against large marine predators. Excellent for use both from land and from the boat, it is suitable for searching for a large number of predators particularly pelagic ones such as various tunnids, skipjack, amberjack and dolphinfish. <h2>SEASPIN MOMMOTTI 115 SS</h2> <div> With the 115 SS model, the Mommotti family reduces in size and enters a more specific field. At 115 mm long and weighing 13gr, this tapered slow sinking differs from other Mommotti in the shape of the paddle, which is visibly longer and more rounded. Thanks to studies on this paddle shape, the artificial not only holds the current well and works properly until the last stage of the retrieve, but achieves a very fast wagging swim with sharp vibrations. At the same time it responds well to jerk strokes and customizing, like its big brothers. Basically, we have the perfect middle ground between the classic minnow and the modern long jerk, all in a format that makes it perfect for light spinning and light trolling, dedicated especially to bass, but also to walleye and, in principle, to all small and medium-sized marine predators. The Mommotti SS is also characterized by the choice of single hooks (Gàmu 1 in the belly and Gàmu 1/0 in the tail), which are the best response to the stranding and power of unexpected predators.
