The MANOVERBOARD - JHLS-4 nautical distress signal complies with the requirements of SOLAS 74/96. Designed to withstand a wide range of weather conditions and to function reliably even after immersion in water. Equipped with a holder that allows it to be placed near a lifebuoy and a rope to tie it to the lifebuoy, the smoke is automatically activated when the signal comes off the holder while the light is activated upon contact with the water. It produces a thick orange smoke 15 minutes and a 2-candle white light for 2 hours.
