Neoprene provides excellent comfort and fit as well as perfect insulation capacity. Proteggersi dal freddo vuol dire anche proteggersi dall’inevitabile senso di fatica eccessiva che può assalire il subacqueo dopo l’immersione, a causa dello shock termico a cui è sottoposto il corpo, a tutto vantaggio del proprio benessere. La muta inoltre rappresenta un importante strumento a favore della sicurezza del subacqueo; essa infatti è in grado di proteggere da contatti indesiderati sul fondale marino con oggetti taglienti o organismi pericolosi oppure con agenti urticanti.
