K-KARP ABSOLUTE VX 10000

The spool oscillating vertically with exasperating slowness is the first message that comes from the rotation of the crank: The Absolute VX lets us know that perfect spooling of the line is its first goal. Not a matter of aesthetics, but a substantial advantage, because wire loaded with manic discipline will come out quickly without causing snags and tangles. And it's only natural that this should be so, for a "big pit" class reel, configured for long-distance fishing, which sports a large-capacity conical spool. At the top is the dual clutch control: a small knob for pre-selection and a larger control for very fast opening or closing. This is the Fast Play system, which allows the clutch operation to be changed instantly. Lightness, fluidity, balance and comfort dictated by the contoured crank are the outline values of a tool that has everything to stand out not only in the K-Karp line, but in the small park of absolute quality reels. Absolute, indeed !

<h2>GLADIATOR from sea trolling</h2> The Gladiator Reel was born from the will and a project of the expert technician Sergio Riccò, who was born in Modena but soon emigrated to Venezuela. Back in Italy at the end of the 1960s his passion for the sea combined with some Venezuelan deep-sea fishing experiences led him, since in those years there was a lack of specific products for Big Game, to design and build the Gladiator reel. After a few years of testing (which was followed by patent application nr. 31039) and excellent practical results he began the production of the Gladiator also assisted by other collaborators. Some time later Mr. Ricò thought of contacting Carlo D'Olivo president of Italcanna to improve the commercial diffusion of the product, and shortly after in the 1970s Mr. D'Olivo personally became part of the Gladiator company and then took it over completely a few years later upon the death of his friend Sergio. For all these years the Gladiator company produced highly specialized equipment for deep-sea fishing such as rings, handles, etc. The Gladiator has over time always stood out for its simplicity of operation and elegance, and was the first reel in the world with an electric contact sound beacon for shoaling (it could operate the boat siren or other electric means - 1st prize Spoga Koln 1979 - Germany). In the following years due to a strong demand for the product, production agreements were also made with other companies that further improved the quality level. The reel GLADIATOR is the perfect match for Italcanna rods and together they have won over the years numerous Italian, European and World Championships (as visible in the news area) as well as several catch records. Technique, experience but also deep passion for sea fishing are therefore at the basis of a Gladiator reel that is now made of anti-corrosion alloy and stainless steel (on high-speed bearings) and is a real strong point on the market for lightness, performance and reliability. Every single computer-designed component is then made on extremely precise machining centers, and using it you will appreciate the innovative lever non-return system (by means of a free wheel) and the easy adjustment of a cam-driven carbon clutch that does not allow for errors from over-tightening or wigging due to full spool release. The special off-center ergonomic handle made of reinforced abs allows not only a better grip, but also makes it easier to hold because it is always upright, as well as transmitting more power to the axle. The elegance of the nickel/anti-corodal contrasts is enhanced by laser engravings that will not fade or fade over time. The new Gladiator CUB (meaning Lion's Cub) reel is designed to be very small in size and weight but up to 45 pounds of power that place it at the highest technical level for vertical jigging fishing but it is also in sinker trolling, trolling and light drifting that it can be used with excellent results. Corpo in grafite super-rigida, bobina in alluminio alleggerito lavorato a freddo e manovella nello stesso materiale, per ottenere un attrezzo davvero molto affidabile. I cuscinetti di precisione sono sette, più un ulteriore cuscinetto a rulli a supporto dell’antiritorno infinito. L’imbobinamento è molto buono, a spire incrociate, con un ottimo trattamento del filo garantito da un rullino guidafilo anti twist in nitruro di titanio. The reel is equipped with Carp Runner Drag, which is the quick clutch release that allows you to switch from free to preset clutch with a simple turn of the crank. <h2>SEASPIN sea fishing artificials</h2> The Leppa is a metal jig with a flattened shape; not for nothing does Leppa, in Sardinian dialect, mean "knife," and in fact its physiognomy is very reminiscent of that of a dagger.The particularly flat and aerodynamic shape, combined with the center of gravity shifted to the rear, allow it surprising casts. In the retrieve it allows many customizations: it manages to guarantee a nervous and very enticing swim even on linear retrieve and at very low speeds and at the same time on jerk strokes it responds with obvious side jerks almost as if it were a jerk bait instead of a metal jig; at high rod and sustained speed it is possible to make it swim just below the surface exploiting the eddies it will create as an additional source of attraction for predators. It is offered with a special single hook (Gàmu round hook) in place of the classic treble hook because it is a more reliable conformation against large marine predators. Excellent for use both from land and from the boat, it is suitable for searching for a large number of predators especially pelagic such as various tunnids, skipjack, amberjack and dolphinfish.
