TRABUCCO sea fishing reel

All fishermen really love their hobby, and often their non-fishing friends call them maniacs!

They are probably right, which is why we have made a reel, the Maniac, that is bound to impress with its incredible strength and smoothness.

All the structural parts of this reel have been made of aluminum to make it truly a small masterpiece of strength.

The body, side cheeks and rotor are made of aluminum.

So are the tubular bow, spool and crank, the latter machined from an aluminum monoblock by turning.

The clutch is no less impressive, and is very smooth, especially at the start, thanks to the alternating use of aluminum and carbon discs.

The spool, we said, in addition to being made of aluminum, also has sloping edges to make it easier for the line to come out, and the central part of the throat covered with a rubber band to prevent slippage of braid. Steel, and double-shielded, are the 9+1 ball bearings instead.

Available in three sizes, the Maniac is definitely a reel that knows how to get noticed and appreciated, especially in those fisheries that impose gear that is small in size but as powerful as a winch.

Feeder fishing then, but also lake trout fishing and beach legering are two among the techniques that can see the Maniac as an absolute protagonist.

The Maniac's clutch compartment encloses a high-tech disc package, structured on the principle of big game reels.

Alternating steel and carbon elements ensure progressiveness, power and heat dissipation.

The crank operates in direct engagement with the drive wheel (drive gear).

This solution represents the best in force transmission, because the energy imparted in retrieval is not dispersed through play or vibration.

In transport, the crank can be reclined to reduce its bulk.

The Maniac is suitable for use at sea, which is why the clutch control has a rubber gasket that seals the disc compartment, preventing water and saltiness from entering.

However, washing after every fishing trip is appropriate.

<h2><strong>GLADIATOR from sea trolling</strong></h2> <p>The Gladiator Reel was born from the will and a project of the expert technician Sergio Riccò, who was born in Modena but soon emigrated to Venezuela.<br>Back in Italy at the end of the 1960s his passion for the sea combined with some Venezuelan deep-sea fishing experiences led him, since in those years there was a lack of specific products for Big Game, to design and build the Gladiator reel.<br>After a few years of testing (which was followed by patent application nr. 31039) and excellent practical results he began the production of the Gladiator also assisted by other collaborators.<br>Some time later Mr. Ricò thought of contacting Carlo D'Olivo president of Italcanna to improve the commercial diffusion of the product, and shortly after in the 1970s Mr. D'Olivo personally became part of the Gladiator company and then took it over completely a few years later upon the death of his friend Sergio.<br>For all these years the Gladiator company produced highly specialized equipment for deep-sea fishing such as rings, handles, etc.<br>The Gladiator has over time always stood out for its simplicity of operation and elegance, and was the first reel in the world with an electric contact sound beacon for shoaling (it could operate the boat siren or other electric means - 1st prize Spoga Koln 1979 - Germany).<br>In the following years due to a strong demand for the product, production agreements were also made with other companies that further improved the quality level.<br>The reel GLADIATOR is the perfect match for Italcanna rods and together they have won over the years numerous Italian, European and World Championships (as visible in the news area) as well as several catch records.<br>Technique, experience but also deep passion for sea fishing are therefore at the basis of a Gladiator reel that is now made of anti-corrosion alloy and stainless steel (on high-speed bearings) and is a real strong point on the market for lightness, performance and reliability.<br>Every single computer-designed component is then made on extremely precise machining centers, and using it you will appreciate the innovative lever non-return system (by means of a free wheel) and the easy adjustment of a cam-driven carbon clutch that does not allow for errors from over-tightening or wigging due to full spool release.<br>The special off-center ergonomic handle made of reinforced abs allows not only a better grip, but also makes it easier to hold because it is always upright, as well as transmitting more power to the axle.<br>The elegance of the nickel/anti-corodal contrasts is enhanced by laser engravings that will not fade or fade over time.</p> <p><span>The new Gladiator CUB (meaning Lion's Cub) reel is designed to be very small in size and weight but up to 45 pounds of power that place it at the highest technical level for vertical jigging fishing but it is also in sinker trolling, trolling and light drifting that it can be used with excellent results. This technique makes it possible to catch bass, sole, turbot, and other coastal wonders such as bream. Equipment is very important and must be perfectly suited to the fishing conditions. To have fun fishing, we suggest some tips to start surfcasting in the best conditions.</p> <p>An affordable reel developed for those who want to take their first steps in Surf technique. The 6500 size covers the vast majority of needs and allows the angler to quickly assimilate the key concepts of casting and retrieving. The alloy mechanics develops a 4.1.1 recovery ratio (a good compromise of reliability and smoothness) and rotates on a single ball bearing and a roller bearing. The wire loading system is cross-spooled and consequently there is no risk of the wire unwinding, partly because the AS Line Roller system cancels out any twisting. The body is graphite and the spool is a super light type, so the weight is really low. Of a good standard is the clutch, certainly superior compared to the price range of the reel. Corpo in grafite super-rigida, bobina in alluminio alleggerito lavorato a freddo e manovella nello stesso materiale, per ottenere un attrezzo davvero molto affidabile.<br /><br /> I cuscinetti di precisione sono sette, più un ulteriore cuscinetto a rulli a supporto dell’antiritorno infinito. Dove sta la differenza? Research has led to the creation of a slight ventral curvature of the artificial, which gives greater instability in swimming and has proven to be particularly attractive to predators. A universal lure aimed especially at bass, barracuda, greenhouses and many other predators, it responds very well to jerkbaits with conspicuous lateral lurching and also exhibits good swimming action during regular retrieves, both fast and slow. It was born to work in the 50-70cm water range and to be used from locations not too high above sea level.The SF Model has a particularly pronounced rolling action that makes it especially suitable
