ITALCANNA tricolor surfcasting fishing rod

Three state-of-the-art pieces capable of throwing ballast up to 150g in ground and 180g in side.
The particular action of this model represents the ideal mix of sensitivity, easy casting and long distances, making it an excellent rod for advanced fishing at high levels.
Composed of three high-modulus carbon elements reinforced with nanocomposite resins for 4.40 m total length. The couplings are made with Italcanna's new (patented) Rewtaper reverse taper system for perfect changes, and the line, thanks to a reinforced structure, accepts even small errors during casting. Excellent for competitive casting, it has also been fine-tuned through the efforts of our technical casting staff.
And just to mark the efforts of our Team and to clearly indicate the origin of this model, an innovative look was chosen, such that the barrel when fully assembled, represents with the three differently colored elements the Italian Tricolor (Patent for industrial design CCIAA Lucca.

Italcanna guarantees that all the rods in this catalog are absolutely made in Italy at its production facility in Lucca, Italy, starting with the mother carbon fiber that is used to make each and every rod.
Made in Italy means not only choosing the best materials, but also having the assurance of service and spare parts even on older products.
In fact, we used to always keep the molds needed to make a particular item.
Italian production also means that the product being used has been developed by experienced fishermen for our seas, our seabeds, and our fishing techniques, and is therefore not an item that for market needs must necessarily be suitable for more than one country.

The choice of materials

By having a direct production-user relationship, we feel obliged to always employ the best materials, because we are personally accountable for the materials used, unlike manufacturers who resell to multinationals for the sole purpose of offering a sufficient product at a lower price to prevent them from turning to others, and certainly do not specify to them the raw materials used.
A clear example of this is carbon fiber, in the chart opposite we highlight different types of HR class fibers which as visible all have similar modulus values, but very different tensile strength values, this means that a rod made with A fiber (our choice) will have the same stiffness and weight feeling as one made with C fiber (less expensive), so seemingly the same, however under greater tensile stress the one with C fiber will break much sooner.
