Fox Frontier II XL - Camo

"We took one of the best bivvies on the market—the Frontier—and made it even better. The Frontier II retains everything that worked in the previous model while adding improved performance, smarter features, and greater practicality across the board. Available in Green or Camo and in three sizes—Frontier II, Frontier II X, and Frontier II XL—this new generation of bivvies offers significant improvements in ease of use, protection, and setup speed.

 

New features:

 

·         The ETS BOSS (Easy Tension System) now features a geared mechanism that prevents the structure from collapsing during setup and makes opening smoother than ever. A refined release trigger on the ETS simplifies pack-down and storage. We’ve added new elbow joints with integrated springs and locking collars, featuring ergonomic grips for faster assembly.

 

·         We’ve widened the front door for better visibility and access, added insect-proof vents on both sides of the door across all models, and included a zipped-in groundsheet for easier attachment, total protection, and direct connection of the optional Inner Mesh Shield (X and XL models only).

 

·         All models now feature four all-weather vents—accessible from the inside—with camo insect mesh and securing options to maintain airflow even in the rain. We’ve added two extra pegging points near the door, complementing the four mesh pockets and central hanging hook.

 

·         A new quick-release cam system has been fitted to the supplied heavy-duty storm poles.

 

·         The Vapour Peak is now included as standard with every model; no separate purchase is required.

 

·         All three The bivvy models are launching with a full range of optional accessories, including: Camo insect-proof mesh front panel (now featuring a “letterbox” style door); Deluxe Wrap – extends coverage by 60cm and accommodates two bedchairs, transforming the bivvy into a two-person shelter, featuring aligned vents, storm-pole attachment points, and easy Velcro and D-loop fixing; Deluxe Extension – a 1.5m front extension providing full coverage for double-layer insulation and reduced condensation (four removable rear panels allow it to convert into a canopy when needed); and an Inner Mesh Shield capsule (for X and XL models).

Frontier II - XL Deluxe Wrap

The Deluxe Wrap extends your bivvy by 60 cm, offering extra protection and enough space to accommodate two bedchairs when combined with the front panel. It transforms into a full overwrap by removing the bivvy's front section and zipping the wrap in place. Four double-zipped vents align with the bivvy’s vents for optimal airflow, while storm pole attachments on the extension ribs enhance stability. Easy to set up thanks to the Velcro strap and D-loop system, ensuring a quick and secure installation. Available in Green or Camo versions.
