Fox Horizon X6 TI Ltd Custom Olive Rods

The Horizon X6 TI rod uses cutting-edge Torayca® Carbon Nanoalloy® technology for a stronger, lighter, thinner blank with incredible retrieval capability. The blank uses multidirectional layers of thinner carbon fabric and nanofiber, as well as Nanoalloy® technology, to electro-bond all the components together during the curing process, this is what gives such a thin blank incredible power. A key point for us was to maintain a high-quality fighting action, with these rods offering adequate cushioning to minimize the risk of slamming. American Tackle Pentalite Titanium forged Ti anti-frap rings are what we believe to be among the best rod rings ever made. The Pentalite ceramic core is housed in a titanium mount that creates an incredibly lightweight ring with the benefits of a traditional ceramic interior. These new "Custom Olive" special models feature matte black carbon reel holders, Shadow Black rings, full-length olive-colored Japanese shrink-sheathed handles, and olive-green details in the windings. They are available in 4-pound bend test versions, a feature exclusive to Custom Olives, for increased casting power, with the two length options of 12 feet and 13 feet.

In fact, the abbreviation XTC stands for Extreme Cast, an appellation that is a must after the onerous experimental field that preceded its production. The predominantly tip action hides a great ductility of the shaft especially, during the combat phases, which makes it resemble a classic progressive parabolic while maintaining complete casting skills. It is precisely with this rod that our collaborators were able to achieve truly amazing distances, a fact attributable solely to the Radial Reverse Carbon, a carbon with extraordinary responsiveness. SiC rings of 50 mm diameter are mandatory in the setup of a rod designed for casting, as they create a particularly favorable cone of invitation up to the tip. This series is both elegant and aggressive. The assembly has been very carefully designed with the use of 6 Fuji rings that, due to their particular lightness, do not change the original action of the blank in any way. The top of the rods is inscribed with the name, curve test and length while the handle is covered at the end and under the reel holder with two short bands of HDE (High Density Eva) to ensure the iust comfort and proper grip. The carbon line clip is inserted into the reel holder, which is original to Fuji.
