The barrels of the rod are made of CX Nano Carbon with Low Resin Content (LRC), which provides lightness, strength and responsiveness. This material allows for better stress management during casting, improving the overall performance of the rod. One of the key technologies built into the Supernova NT Evo Surf is the Twist Free, designed to stop the twisting of the shaft during casting. This results in increased casting accuracy and distance, which is essential for surfcasting. This technology is implemented on both the base of the rod and a portion of the tip, allowing it to effectively counteract the twist generated during casting. The 45-degree carbon wraps on the joints of the rod, known as X-Joints, help to achieve perfect curvature and cancel out the oscillations of the shaft, providing greater stability and accuracy while casting. Ultralight metal rings are strategically placed as reinforcements to the rod sections, ensuring even stress distribution and increased strength. The Hybrid Tip is a distinctive feature of the Supernova NT Evo Surf, consisting of a pinless solid carbon tip, grafted onto a tubular section. This tip is particularly sensitive and high-performance, allowing the angler to feel even the smallest touches of fish. The end of the tip is colored with high-visibility paint and wrapped with reflective tape, ensuring good visibility even in low-light conditions. The Slick Surface outer finish is designed to repel water droplets, reducing friction with the line and allowing smoother, more accurate casts. Sea Guide SiC Titanium rings, with an anti-tangle stainless steel K-frame design, are secured by double binding that seals the ring feet against saltwater intrusion. A reflective wire band is inserted between the ring bindings for better nighttime rod location, which is especially useful during night fishing sessions. The rod is equipped with a Fuji LS7 reel plate with removable center support, designed to accommodate large reels securely and stably.
