ITALCANNA clipper beach ledgering fishing rod

The Clipper is a fishing rod for shore and reef fishing suitable for casts with lead from 30 to 80 gr. Made entirely of high-strength carbon composed of 5 sections for a total of 4 mt, very light, graphite reel holder attachment, extremely sensitive tip thanks to a special solid carbon tip. Rings in SIC, and tapered reel holder. Mt. 4.00 - Action 0.36

Italcanna guarantees that all the rods in this catalog are absolutely made in Italy at its production site in Lucca, starting from the mother carbon fiber that is used to make each single shaft.
Made in Italy means not only the choice of the best materials, but also having the certainty of assistance and spare parts even on older products.
In fact, we are used to always keep the molds necessary to make a given item.
Italian production also means that the product you are using has been developed by expert fishermen for our seas, our seabeds, and our fishing techniques, and is therefore not an item that for market needs must necessarily be suitable for more than one country.

The choice of materials

Having a direct production-user relationship, we feel obliged to always employ the best materials, because we are personally accountable for the materials used, unlike manufacturers who resell to multinationals with the sole purpose of offering a sufficient product at a lower price to prevent them from turning to others, and certainly do not specify to them the raw materials used.
A clear example of this is carbon fiber, in the chart opposite we highlight different types of fibers in HR class which as visible all have a similar modulus value, but very different tensile strength values, this means that a rod made with fiber A (our choice) will have the same stiffness and weight feeling as one made with fiber C (less expensive), so seemingly the same, however under greater tensile stress the one with fiber C will break much sooner.

In fact, we are used to always keep the molds necessary to make a given item. Italian production also means that the product you are using has been developed by expert fishermen for our seas, our seabeds, and our fishing techniques, and is therefore not an item that for market needs must necessarily be suitable for more than one country. <h2>ITALCANNA surfcasting fishing rod</h2> High-performance telescopic rod, made of High Modulus Carbon with nano-composite matrix the latest breakthrough in composite materials technology, obtained by dispersing inert fillers in the resin that significantly improve all the mechanical characteristics of the manufactured product. As a result, the rod has an exceptional response, very fast and powerful in spite of its thin light appearance, and perfectly balanced. Sealing to wave motion is good and it does not sink when retrieving large leads and large clusters of kelp. Ballistically, it is definitely one of the best performing telescopic rods, and even with a simple cast behind the head excellent results can be obtained. The rod then expresses itself best with a proportionally fast close as its speed would require. Thus, unparalleled performance is achieved with slow preloading and then accelerated speed in closing. Because of its special conformation and power distribution, it is not necessary to angle excessively (which is unnecessary and not recommended given the high modulus content) to get the most out of preloading. Available in maximum weights of 140, 170 and 200g which will have optimum casting weights of 125, 150 and 170g respectively Other features common to all models are: sections 6 , Fuji chrome rings (ion treatment), Fuji plate , special Italcanna balance optimizer cap. 100 % MADE in ITALY Italcanna guarantees that all the rods in this catalog are absolutely made in Italy at its production site in Lucca, starting with the mother carbon fiber that is used to make each rod. Made in Italy means not only choosing the best materials, but also having the certainty of assistance and spare parts even on older products. In fact, we are used to always keep the molds needed to make a particular item. Italian production also means that the product being used has been developed by expert fishermen for our seas, our seabeds, and our fishing techniques, and is therefore not an item that for market requirements must necessarily be suitable for more than one country. The choice of materials Having a direct production-user relationship, we feel obliged to always employ the best materials, because we are personally accountable for the materials used, unlike manufacturers who resell to multinationals with the sole purpose of offering a sufficient product at a lower price to prevent them from turning to others, and certainly do not specify to them the raw materials used.
