E’ una jig head armata con un amo texas style, che vi permette di innescare il vostro trailer preferito, avendo la funzione di evitare ogni tipo di incaglio senza ridurre il potere ferrante. La vera rivoluzione del Geko Jig consiste però nello snodo di connessione formato da una girella in fusione con la testina connessa tramite un solid ring ed un successivo split ring che oltre a garantire una naturalezza nel movimento mai vista prima d’ora, vi consente di annullare la tensione sul filo ruotando liberamente a 360° e riducendo al minimo le possibilità della vostra preda di slamarsi durante il combattimento. Il Geko jig è attualmente presente in 2 tipologie di forma e 4 misure: 3/8 Oz – 1/2 – Oz – 3/4 Oz – 1 Oz. Una è la testina sferica (spheric head) per situazioni con fondali rocciosi e pietrisco di varie dimensioni, l’altra è quella a proiettile (bullet head) per facilitare l’ingresso tra le cover e le situazioni dove è necessaria una maggior penetrazione. <h2><strong>SEASPIN STRIA 95</strong></h2> <p>Lo Stria 95 è un minnow affondante molto innovativo. Nonostante la paletta pronunciata non si tratta di un countdown, ovvero un artificiale capace di scendere molto e di essere utilizzato da posizioni particolarmente alte: in realtà la sua fascia d’azione va da circa un metro a pochi centimetri sotto la sua superficie a seconda di come viene utilizzato. La paletta ha lo scopo di tenere bene le correnti, anche forti, qualità che lo rende perfetto per resistere in mezzo alle schiumate più difficili e alla potenza del flusso delle foci. La sua particolarità che lo distingue da tutti gli altri minnows in commercio è il movimento, infatti la forma con la “fronte alta” e i fianchi stretti lo costringono a un rolling estremamente accentuato, accompagnato da un wobbling stretto e regolare. Questo wobbling di 180° e la conseguente, forte vibrazione sono un qualcosa a cui i pesci, sempre più “esperti” in artificiali, non sono certo abituati. La forma è il movimento oltretutto sono artefici di un’attrattività visiva non indifferente: il luccichio dell’artificiale è un asso in più: impossibile non notarlo anche in mezzo alle schiumate più fitte! Tutte le qualità descritte lo rendono innanzitutto un ottimo artificiale da spigola, ma nei test ha dimostrato di essere polivalente: dal dentice, a barracuda e serra, e a sorpresa si è dimostrato vincente anche con tunnidi come alletterati e palamite. <h2><strong>SEASPIN TOTO 131</strong></h2> <div>Il buco che “buca”!!</div> <div>Concept and Design</div> <div>Il nome deriva da Antonio Crasà, Totò per gli amici, componente dello staff del marchio, che ha avuto la prima idea e ha realizzato il primo prototipo di legno da cui è partita tutta la fase di progettazione e di realizzazione del modello. Con la realizzazione di questo artificiale, proprio per la sua singolarità estetica, ma soprattutto per quanto di tecnico rappresenta, si alza di molto l’asticella della progettazione delle hard bait di ultima generazione. In questo caso lo studio di progettazione esce dallo schema naturalistico d’imitazioni di colori o forme simili al reale, per andare alla ricerca di nuovi profili e superfici che siano funzionali al movimento che si voglia l’artificiale abbia in acqua. In cosa consiste dunque tutta questa innovazione? Nell’utilizzo di una forma semplice ma che ha comportato più di due anni di studi e di test per collocarla correttamente e far sì che durante il nuoto crei forze complesse che causino azioni sorprendenti: un buco. Un semplice buco che comporta però un’importante innovazione nel mondo delle esche artificiali. Un buco che genera ovviamente delle vibrazioni diverse dal normale e che, per questo motivo, sono percepite dai pesci in maniera più efficace e che causa dei comportamenti in acqua molto interessanti difficilmente confrontabili con alcun altro popper in commercio. Un progettista può immaginare immediatamente quale importanza e quali forze si generano con la presenza stessa dell’anomalia di un foro nella parte posteriore del modello. Queste forze sono create dalla forma particolare e asimmetrica delle superfici che creano il foro e che interrompono i filetti di acqua che normalmente aderiscono ai fianchi e al corpo dell’artificiale durante il recupero. Per progettare correttamente le superfici, in particolare quelle nella zona intorno al buco, chiamiamola “camera del foro”, abbiamo deciso di utilizzare dei programmi dedicati alla meccanica strutturale e alla fluidodinamica che ci offrivano la possibilità di simulare varie configurazioni relative al comportamento strutturale dell’artificiale. Le due svasature laterali asimmetriche servono, infatti, a convogliare una quantità maggiore di aria e acqua nella zona in questione e, in collaborazione con le superfici curve di battuta, creano un attrito nella parte posteriore dell’artificiale e interagiscono continuamente nel nuoto del modello. Potremmo semplificare l’azione come un freno che tra le altre cose genera un caratteristico “brivido” a intervalli regolari durante l’azione di recupero che è veramente molto interessante. Oltre a questo, l’esca una volta entrata in acqua accumula, proprio all’interno del foro, una bolla d’aria che alleggerisce la parte posteriore favorendone lo scodinzolamento iniziale. Jerkando successivamente con energia, l’artificiale crea un tubo di bollicine, che si disperde nell’acqua, decisamente superiore a quello formato dai popper normali, sia per la presenza del surplus di aria trattenuto dal foro sia e soprattutto per la forte turbolenza che si crea all’interno del complesso sistema della “camera del foro”. Altra caratteristica causata dal freno posteriore, esaminato in precedenza, è l’arresto immediato dell’artificiale quando il pescatore interrompe il recupero. L’esca si ferma come durante la pausa di un video! Un’assenza totale di abbrivio. In generale l’artificiale si può descrivere come un popper “nuotatore che durante l’azione di recupero entra ed esce dall’acqua automaticamente senza che sia necessaria nessun’azione particolare con la canna da parte del pescatore. Recuperato linearmente, o alternato a brevi o lunghe jerkate, crea un tubo subacqueo di bollicine veramente impressionante intervallato da un caratteristico “brivido” dell’esca che entra autonomamente in vibrazione a intervalli regolari. Il Toto è perfetto anche se utilizzato a strappi da fermo per rompere la superficie e creare grandi schizzi sull’acqua. Lancio? Lontanissimo. Per quanto riguarda la camera del foro, che indubbiamente caratterizza tutta l’estetica dell’esca, sono state scelte delle specifiche colorazioni metallizzate, ma non riflettenti, per creare un’alternanza lucido/opaco durante il nuoto che ha sembra dato ottimi risultati in pesca. Nei modelli trasparenti questa diversa luminosità è causata dai flash ritmici dovuti alle diverse angolazioni della lamina interna metallizzata durante l’azione di rollio dell’esca. Vista la particolare resistenza delle ancorette è dedicato in particolare a serra, lecce e ricciole ma in generale a tutti i pesci della fascia mediterranea come barracuda e tunnidi di media taglia. <h2><strong>HERAKLES ABISSO ACID</strong></h2> <p>L' <strong>EGING</strong> (Pesca ai Cefalopodi) è una tecnica davvero bella che sta appassionando sempre più persone. Questa tecnica di pesca nasce in Giappone ma ora sta spopolando in quasi tutto il mondo. E' davvero divertente, studiata per insidiare i calamari dalla costa, cosa che per molti era difficile da credere. Le specie che potremo insidiare oltre ai calamari sono le seppie ed i polpi.<br /><br /><strong>Attrezzatura</strong>:<br />Ora in commercio troviamo moltissime canne dedicate a questa tecnica di pesca. Le canne generalmente sono in 2 pezzi con una lunghezza media di 8’ piedi (2,44 metri); solitamente la potenza viene espressa con le misure delle EGI (le totanare) es 2.5 – 3.0 – 3.5 queste sono le classiche poi troveremo a nostro piacimento micro EGI anche sotto la misura 2.0 per un LIGHT EGING oppure esche più grandi e pesanti come le 4.0 per condizioni particolari come forte vento o profondità del fondale molto elevata.<br />Oltre alla misura nelle caratteristiche delle nostre EGI troveremo la velocità di affondamento solitamente espressa in s/m cioè quanti secondi impiega per affondare di un metro la nostra EGI verso il fondo. Nelle caratteristiche della canna spesso viene indicato anche lo spessore del filo consigliato con un minimo ed un massimo es: <span class="font10">LINE 0.6/1.0 PE</span>  in questo caso possiamo utilizzare un trecciato PE tra la misura 0.6 e 1.0; un consiglio è quello di rimanere sempre su una via di mezzo tra le due misure indicate come un 0.8 PE in questo esempio. Sceglieremo le nostre esche in base al nostro spot in quanto ai colori non c’è uno schema ben preciso ma dovrete provare nel vostro spot e periodo quali vanno di più. Personalmente amo molto i colori classici Arancio, Rosa e Verde mi hanno sempre regalato bellissime catture. Consiglio l’utilizzo di trecciati morbidi e sottili per consentire lunghi lanci ed uno stretto contatto con la nostra esca pronti ad alzare immediatamente la canna quando il cefalopode la prende tra i suoi tentacoli; questo abbinato con circa 1-1.5 metri di terminale in fluorocarbon per avere un minimo di elasticità.<br />La scelta del mulinello è personale ma posso dirvi di non usare mulinelli troppo grossi o pesanti; un 2500 direi che è una taglia perfetta. <span style="text-transform:uppercase;">E</span>sistono mulinelli dedicati per questa tecnica caratterizzati da bobine Shallow (a bassa capienza) e frizione con max drag basso.<br /><br /><strong>Scelta dello spot</strong>:<br />Gli spot migliori per insidiare i calamari sono moli illuminati, imbocchi portuali, scogliere fonde e spiagge. La profondità solitamente deve essere dai 2 metri in poi e l’importanza dell’acqua limpida è quasi fondamentale. A volte se peschiamo nei pressi di moli o spiagge se ci posizioniamo vicino a fonti di luce questo potrà aiutarci ad aumentare le catture.<br /><br /><strong>Quando insidiarli</strong>:<br />L’orario buono per poter insidiare da riva i calamari va da circa un ora prima del tramonto sino all’alba, poi in base allo spot e alle loro abitudini starà a noi capire quando trovarli di preciso. In quanto al periodo la differenza la fa il luogo in cui ci troviamo; nella maggior parte dei casi il periodo migliore ca da fine estate (Settembre) a fine inverno (Marzo).</p> <p></p> <p>La linea Herakles Abisso Egi è composta da una serie di artificiali ottimamente bilanciati, sia in fase di lancio, che in fase di nuoto. <h2><strong>GLADIATOR sea trolling reel</strong></h2> <p><span>The Gladiator Reel was born from the will and a project of the expert technician Sergio Riccò, born in Modena but who soon emigrated to Venezuela.<br>Back in Italy at the end of the 1960s his passion for the sea combined with some Venezuelan deep-sea fishing experiences led him, since in those years there was a lack of specific products for Big Game, to design and build the Gladiator reel.<br>After a few years of testing (which was followed by patent application nr. 31039) and excellent practical results he began the production of the Gladiator also assisted by other collaborators.<br>Some time later Mr. Ricò thought of contacting Carlo D'Olivo president of Italcanna to improve the commercial diffusion of the product, and shortly after in the 1970s Mr. D'Olivo personally became part of the Gladiator company and then took it over completely a few years later upon the death of his friend Sergio.<br>For all these years the Gladiator company produced highly specialized equipment for deep-sea fishing such as rings, handles, etc.<br>The Gladiator has over time always stood out for its simplicity of operation and elegance, and was the first reel in the world with an electric contact sound beacon for shoaling (it could operate the boat siren or other electric means - 1st prize Spoga Koln 1979 - Germany).<br>In the following years due to a strong demand for the product, production agreements were also made with other companies that further improved the quality level.<br>The reel GLADIATOR is the perfect match for Italcanna rods and together they have won over the years numerous Italian, European and World Championships (as visible in the news area) as well as several catch records.<br>Technique, experience but also deep passion for sea fishing are therefore at the basis of a Gladiator reel that is now made of anti-corrosion alloy and stainless steel (on high-speed bearings) and is a real strong point on the market for lightness, performance and reliability.<br>Every single computer-designed component is then made on extremely precise machining centers, and using it you will appreciate the innovative lever non-return system (by means of a free wheel) and the easy adjustment of a cam-driven carbon clutch that does not allow for errors from over-tightening or wigging due to full spool release.<br>The special off-center ergonomic handle made of reinforced abs allows not only a better grip, but also makes it easier to hold because it is always upright, as well as transmitting more power to the axle.<br>The elegance of the nickel/anti-corodal contrasts is enhanced by laser engravings that will not fade or fade over time.</span></p> <p><span>The new Gladiator CUB (meaning Lion's Cub) reel is designed to be very small in size and weight but up to 45 pounds of power that place it at the highest technical level for vertical jigging fishing but it is also in sinker trolling, trolling and light drifting that it can be used with excellent results.
